Established in 1993, Pie is a facility that offers clients an intimate recording environment while maintaining a world-class level of technical excellence. World-renowned for our collection of vintage equipment, Pie Studios features the only fully-discrete Neve 8078 on the East Coast, and our console is complemented by an extensive array of classic outboard gear, amplifiers and musical instruments. Combine that with the latest generation of Protools Native with Apogee Symphony MKII, and you'll find that our facility is unmatched in quality and convenience.

Control Room

Our spacious 26'x20' control room offers clients and extremely comfortable working environment. Acoustically tuned by George Auspurger, it provides an optimum level of acoustic accuracy.

Live Room

The live room at Pie is 35'x28' with an 18' ceiling height plus two adjacent isolation booths, one downstairs (7.5'x7.75') and one upstairs overlooking the live room (13'x10'). The main room is exceptionally well balanced, relatively live yet controlled. It is an excellent environment for cutting drums, strings, guitars – you name it!
